WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Currently, items on our site can be paid for via PayPal. We also accept e-transfer payments for custom orders made via Instagram direct message (@ak.stones) or through our 'Contact' page.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We ship to Canada and the USA at this time.
Orders typically take 2-3Â days to dispatch. We currently use Canada Post standard shipping which can take 7-10 business days, but expect delays due to the holidays or COVID-19 especially for cross-country and international orders.
HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM ORDER COST?
Custom prices start at just $12.99 for keychains, $34.99 for bracelets and mask chains and $139.99 for Malas but vary based on the specific stones you'd like and how much it costs to source them.
WHY DO CUSTOM ORDER PRICES VARY?
Prices can vary depending on the requested stones, sourcing cost and labour for creating your custom order. If you'd like to stay within a certain budget, please let us know in your order comments and we can find a way to create something that works for your wallet too!
HOW LONG DO CUSTOM ORDERS TAKE?
Typically orders should take no more than 7 days to build and prep for dispatch.
Order times may vary based on the type of order and if the requested stones are currently in stock. We try our best to keep customers up to date with any order delays and will contact you when we have shipped your item.
WHAT IS A MALA?
Mala, translates to 'garland' in Sanskrit and is a traditional strand of prayer beads often used in Eastern spiritual practices and meditation. For more information on Mala anatomy see our 'About' page.
WHAT BEAD SIZES DO YOU HAVE? WHAT SHOULD I ORDER?
We have both 6mm and 8mm round gemstones. Bead size mostly affects the length of the Mala or thickness of bracelets.
6mm Mala length is around 18" (sitting just below the chest) while 8mm Malas are about 24" long (sitting around the belly-button, or can be worn doubled up)
6mm bracelets are more delicate and subtle while 8mm bracelets can showcase stones and charms more effectively.
Either way, we're sure you'll love your stones!
HOW DO YOUR BRACELET SIZES WORK?
We have three basic sizes:
Small ~ 6"
Medium ~ 6.5"
Large ~ 7"
The band can stretch out further over time with regular wear.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY STONES?
Most stones can handle a fair bit of wear and tear. Keep them as dry as you can (hand-washing is okay but avoid submerging them)Â
Bracelet bands are made from poly-stretch cord that's both durable and waterproof.
Keychains and Malas are made with with S-Lon Nylon beading cord.
DO YOU CHARGE / BATHE YOUR STONES?
Yes. I usually place completed pieces on a natural surface outside in the sunlight or moonlight for several hours. If that's not possible I use incense or sage to smudge the stones.
I recommend using your own preferred method to prepare your stones once they've arrived as they've been handled quite a bit in the shipping process.
